01Information we collect

We collect information you give us, information created when you use the Service, and information from the operators and partners we work with.

• Account details — your mobile number, name, and password.
• Identity data — your National ID or passport details, document images, and a verification selfie.
• Transaction data — recharges, bill payments, amounts, billers, and the numbers you top up.
• Device & usage data — device type, app version, IP address, and basic activity needed to run and secure the Service.

02How we use your data

We use your personal data to:

• Create and operate your account and process your recharges and payments.
• Verify your identity and prevent fraud, money laundering, and abuse.
• Provide customer support and send service messages such as OTPs and receipts.
• Meet our legal, tax, and regulatory obligations in the Maldives.
• Improve the reliability, security, and performance of the Service.

03Identity & KYC data

Your ID document images and verification selfie are used only to confirm your identity and match it to your ID, as required by anti-money-laundering law. This data is encrypted, access is strictly limited to authorised verification staff and systems, and it is never used for advertising or sold to third parties.

04Legal basis

We process your data to perform our contract with you (providing the Service), to comply with legal obligations (identity verification, tax, and record-keeping), for our legitimate interests in keeping the Service secure, and, where required, with your consent — which you may withdraw at any time.

05Sharing & disclosure

We share data only as needed to deliver the Service and meet our obligations:

• Operators & billers (e.g. Ooredoo, Dhiraagu, utilities) — to fulfil the recharge or payment you request.
• Payment & banking partners — to process your payment securely.
• Verification & cloud providers — under strict confidentiality and data-protection agreements.
• Regulators & authorities — when required by Maldivian law or a valid legal request.

We do not sell your personal data.

06Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and for as long afterwards as the law requires us to retain transaction and identity records — typically five years for KYC and financial records. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

07Security

We protect your data with encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, monitoring, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information and will notify you and the relevant authorities of any breach as required by law.

08Your rights

Subject to Maldivian law, you may request to access, correct, or delete your personal data, object to certain processing, or receive a copy of your data. Some data must be retained to meet legal obligations even if you ask us to delete it. To exercise your rights, contact [email protected].
